Direct Darshan Ujjain is an independent private pilgrimage logistics, cab service provider, hotel aggregator, and devotional guide consultancy.
We are NOT affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or an official entity of the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee (SMTMC - श्री महाकालेश्वर मंदिर प्रबंध समिति, उज्जैन) or any other government temple administration. Official online bookings for Bhasma Aarti and Temple offerings are managed solely through the temple trust's official portal (shrimahakaleshwar.mp.gov.in) and physical counters at Gate No. 4.
1 Scope of Services Provided
Our services are strictly confined to:
- Private AC Cab / Taxi rentals for Indore Airport, Ujjain local sightseeing, and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga transfers.
- Hotel reservations and family-friendly dharamshala accommodations near the temple.
- On-ground local guide escort to assist guests with queue directions, shoe counters, luggage cloakrooms, and navigating temple pass counters.
- Coordination with certified local Vedic purohits for rituals such as Mangalnath Bhaat Puja, Kalsarp Shanti, and Mahamrityunjaya Jap.
2 Mandatory Temple Dress Code & Photo ID
All devotees utilizing our guidance must strictly abide by the rules framed by the Temple Management Committee:
- Original Government ID: Every pilgrim must carry a valid physical ID card (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID).
- Sanctum (Garbhagriha) Dress Code: Men must wear traditional cotton Dhoti & Kurta or Sola (unstitched pure garment). Women must wear Saree or traditional Salwar Kameez. Jeans, western wear, and leather accessories are strictly prohibited.
- Security Checks: Devotees must cooperate with temple security and police personnel during entry.
3 Cab & Tour Package Cancellation Policy
Our transparent cancellation rules for private cab transfers and hotel bookings are as follows:
- More than 24 hours before pickup: 100% full refund of advance deposit.
- Within 12 to 24 hours before pickup: 50% refund or free rescheduling to a future date within 6 months.
- Less than 12 hours / No-Show: Advance deposit is non-refundable due to vehicle driver lock-in and hotel hold charges.
4 Limitation of Liability & Unforeseen Circumstances
Direct Darshan Ujjain is not liable for delays, modifications, or cancellations resulting from:
- Sudden temple closure or gate restrictions imposed by District Administration or Temple Management due to VIP/VVIP visits or severe festival crowds.
- Natural weather disruptions, road closures, or traffic diversions.
- Rejection of entry by temple authorities due to non-compliance with attire or failure to present original ID cards.
